What does membership mean?
Becoming a member of Iglesia Tampa Bay means moving from visitor to active part of the body. It's not paperwork or an empty commitment — it's a decision to commit to this specific family to attend, serve, give, and pray together.
What it includes
- Regular attendance — Sundays and your small group.
- Serving — using your gifts on a team.
- Stewardship — supporting the vision with consistent generosity.
- Prayer — interceding for the church, the pastors, and those who haven't arrived yet.
What you get in return
- Intentional shepherding — the pastors know you by name.
- A voice in the direction of the church (semi-annual meetings, key decisions).
- A small group where you walk life with others.
- Care in every season: weddings, births, illness, grief.
How do I become a member?
After Discover ITB and your baptism (if not yet baptized), you have a conversation with a pastor and sign the membership covenant. It's a step, not an exam.
